HISTORY​

The Bronx Christian Church was founded in 2005 by Pastor Kevin Gravesandy and his wife Lina Gravesandy. Since then, TBCC has been committed to providing a safe and spiritual home for the community.

MISSION STATEMENT

The Bronx Christian Church seeks to help set souls free in Christ. We are a place of healing and rest for those who have been spiritually wounded.

DOCTRINAL BELIEFS

SCRIPTURES
We believe the Holy Scriptures to be the authoritative and inspired word of God, complete and without error in the original text.
(2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21)

GODHEAD
We believe that there is only one living and true God, who exists in three persons — Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit. He is the Creator, Redeemer, Sustainer, and Ruler of all things.
(Deuteronomy 6:4; John 1:1)

BELIEVERS
We believe that all believers should seek to walk by the Spirit and not by the flesh everyday. Each believer must choose to deny himself and live in subjugation to Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit and by the truths of the Holy Scripture.
(Romans 12:1; 2 Corinthians 5:9-11)

JESUS CHRIST
We believe that Lord Jesus Christ is the Lord. He is the eternal Son of God who came into the world in the full manifest of God to bring salvation. We believe that He came to fulfill his prophecy as the Redeemer of the world by dying on the cross for our sins and raising from the dead three days later. We believe that Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary, performed miracles and was without sin.

SALVATION
We believe that salvation is available to all who believe in the redeeming work of Christ. We believe that no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he has been born again and given a new spirit. We believe that salvation is not received through human works but by the grace offered to us through the Son Jesus Christ.
